Topographic Elements

Nostalgia for domestic travels and discoveries within the greek landscape is the key element to initiate this colour research. The sceneries we miss when we nestle at home and the places we would rather be at are translated into interior colours.

The strongest elements of each scenery comprise the proposed palette. The sun not only for its light but also for its impact on our bodies; warmth, sweat, lust. Dry hay of the mid August, fallen down by people walking on it. The dark green wet pine trees of the autumn. Ancient marbles and clay houses during sunset. Soil in the summer; rough, dry but rich. Blue for the deep sea water; the colour of awe seen down from the ferry.  Vast blue sky, clear yet mesmerising. Nostalgia feelings, tenderness, misery and light.

With colour and materiality defining our perception of the living environment, we aimed to a memory-intriguing colour palette. Different combinations create various experiences of the space, making it ideal for upholstering interior elements of private or more public use.
